In addition, the national standard also requires that children's furniture used in household and public places must have flame retardancy; The instructions for use should indicate the age range for which the product is suitable, and require specific items of children's furniture to be warned to avoid unnecessary harm to children.

In terms of regulations on harmful substances, European and American countries have requirements for raw materials, but there are no clear requirements for furniture. However, China's national standard for children's furniture also has requirements for the harmful substances in furniture itself. Imported furniture must also meet the mandatory provisions in China's General Technical Conditions for Children's Furniture.
